2009 - Rummage Sale Fundraiser at Ka'ahumanu Church grounds
from 7 am - 1 pm. March 21, 2009 - Ho'omau 2009, Punanaleo Fundraiser at the Maui Botanical Gardens Zoo Amphitheater, great music & hula, crafts and ono mea ai to be had by all who come. March 23 - April 6 2009 - Uluwehi travels to Japan for workshops. April 16, 2009 - Kumu Uluwehi and his Alaka'i Leilani, will be making a special appearance at the Merrie Monarch in hilo during the night of the Miss Aloha hula competition. April 25, 2009 - Uluwehi and the men and women of Halau hula Kauluokala will be Performing at Keawala'i Church in Makena at their annual luau, please contact the church for more info at (808) 879-5557. May 22 2009 - Na Kane Fundraiser event held at the Maui Beach hotel with Nahenahe music, hula. We will be having a silent auction with implements made by Na Kane, including a Pahu Drum or two, Ipu Heke, Ipu hula and more. A special event not to miss! Mahalo for all who attended and supported this event. June 2009 - Uluwehi travels to Japan and tours with other Hawaii musicians during the first two weeks in June. June 6, 2009 - We will have our annual Cookie Bake Fundaiser. Donations are being accepted see contact page. June 20, 2009 - Halau Kauluokala will participate in the American Cancer Society Central Maui Relay for Life as relay participants. July 1-7 2009 - Uluwehi will be at the Moku O Keawe Hula Festival held in Miyazaki , Japan Where he will be amongst the panel of Judges and will be hosting a Hula Auana work shop. July 18th, 2009 - Saturday at 5:00 p.m. Uluwehi will perform live at Borders in the Maui Marketplace with Hula dancers, featuring selections from his new CD, which he will be signing. August 7 - 9, 2009 - Uluwehi travels to Chicago to perform and to put on hula workshops. August 22, 2009 - Barnes and Noble in Lahaina at the Lahaina gateway at 3 pm. September 4 - 7 2009 - Labor Day weekend we will be having our Halau Camping trip in Hana. This is a Private event. September 10, 2009 - Uluwehi and his band will record for "Pakele Live" to be viewed on OC16 Oceanic channel 16 and 1016HD to be broadcasted on those channels at a later date TBA. This will be recorded live at the Ala Moana Hotel's "Pakele Lounge", hosted by Tony Sollis. September 12, 2009 - Uluwehi performs solo with dancers at Borders,at Waikele Center in Waipahu at 2 pm. 7 PM - Uluwehi makes an appearance at Borders Victoria Ward Centre, 1200 Ala Moana Blvrd.. September 13, 2009 - Uluwehi performs solo with dancers from 3pm - 4pm at the Ward Warehouse hosted by Native Books/Na Mea Hawai'i followed by signing at Native Books at 5 pm. 1250 Ala Moana Blvd ste 1000. September 23 - 27 2009 - Na Kane of Halau Hula Kauluokala will be entering the Mokihana Festival Hula competition on Kaua'i. Winner of the Hawaiian language award and winner of the Auana Choreography award. October 2, 2009 - Uluwehi and Halau hula Kauluokala, will be performing at the Maui County fair during an early evening performance. October 3, 2009 - Uluwehi will be performing for a special event on Lana'i, escorted by his some of his dancers. October 13-21, 2009 - Kumu Uluwehi escorted by Dancers of Kaulupono will be performing concerts in several cities throughout Japan, including all day workshops. November 12 - 15, 2009 Uluwehi will enter dancers in the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel Hula O Na Keiki hula competition. For more details vist www.KBHMaui.com. November 16 - 25, 2009 - Uluwehi will be touring Japan giving Hula Workshops and performing at a Ho'ike (private event.) November 28, 2009 - Bailey House Fundraiser with Uluwehi Guerrero and Halau Hula Kauluokala. Stay tuned for updates on special guest artist. The event starts at 9 am and will conclude at 3 pm. Dec 5 2009 - Na Keiki of Halau Hula Kauluokala will be having their annual Keiki Christmas Party. This is a Private event Dec 12, 2009 - New CD "Na Mele hula Aloha" promotions on O'ahu as follows 10:30 am - Perry and Price morning show at Jimmy Buffetts at the Waikiki Beach Comber. 2 pm - Center Stage, Kahala Mall followed by CD signing near Barnes & Noble. 6 pm - Pearl Ridge followed by signing at Borders Dec. 13, 2009 - Halau will have its annual Christmas Party. This is a Private event Dec 19, 2009 - "Special Christmas Concert" Uluwehi performs with Na Leo Lani O Maui Community Choir at the Iao Theatre.
